12 for 25 Album Cover

For this assignment, we created a typographic album cover featuring 12 top songs from 2025. I focused on using typography as the main visual element and experimented with different layouts, compositions, and color combinations to see what best represented the feeling of the music. I chose a darker, more mysterious color palette to create a specific mood and make the design feel more dramatic and engaging.

Throughout the process, I adjusted the placement, scale, and style of the typography to create a balanced composition while still making the text feel like the focus of the cover. It was interesting to explore how small changes in color, spacing, and arrangement could completely change the overall feeling of the design. This project helped me better understand how typography can communicate emotion and create a strong visual identity without relying on imagery.
