IU Tech Thursdays

This is my weekly contribution to IU’s social media channels, where I highlight campus events and feature stories we want to spotlight. Each post is thoughtfully aligned with other active campaigns and visuals to maintain consistency across platforms while reinforcing IU’s brand identity. The goal is always to capture attention quickly without overwhelming the viewer. I intentionally keep these designs clean and minimal—strong imagery, a few impactful words, and little to no additional copy. In a fast-scrolling digital environment, I’ve found that simplicity and clarity are the most effective ways to communicate a message at a glance.

I don’t think I’ll ever get used to seeing my designs featured on IU’s Instagram. It’s a surreal feeling to open my personal account and scroll past something I created on a platform followed by millions. Knowing my work is reaching such a wide audience is both exciting and deeply motivating—a constant reminder of the power and impact of thoughtful design.
