Rose-Hulman Holiday Card

I was tasked with designing the 2026 holiday card that Rose-Hulman President Rob Coons would send to faculty, staff, alumni, and friends of the institute. Finding the right direction was challenging because most of the inspiration I came across leaned heavily toward Christmas, while I wanted the design to feel more inclusive and celebrate the holiday season as a whole. Eventually, I found a concept featuring stars, snowflakes, and other seasonal icons arranged in a wreath-like composition. That inspired me to give the design a Rose-Hulman twist by incorporating engineering-themed illustrations.

Creating each icon from scratch was one of my favorite parts of the project. It pushed my illustration skills and gave me the opportunity to practice designing a cohesive icon set. I'm really happy with how the final piece came together, and it was especially rewarding to see it approved so quickly.
