AGD Dude’s Weekend Pin
This project was especially meaningful to me for a few reasons. First, I created it for an event led by one of my best friends, which made the experience even more personal. Being able to use my design skills to support something she worked so hard on added an extra layer of purpose to the process. Second, there’s nothing quite like seeing people physically wear something you designed. This pin was created for our sorority’s Guys Go Gam weekend, and it was so special to see my sisters and their guests proudly wearing a piece I made. Watching it become part of the event atmosphere was incredibly rewarding.
From a design perspective, I focused on creating something trendy, inclusive, and simple. I intentionally avoided language like “dad” or “father” to ensure the design felt welcoming to everyone, regardless of who they brought. Since it was made specifically for the IU vs. Indiana State football game (which we won obvi #nattychamps,) I leaned heavily into Indiana branding to capture school spirit while keeping the look clean and wearable.
