Change is Inevitable
Change is a fact of life, but sometimes it can be overwhelming, particularly when confronting a loss. This loss might be due to the end of a relationship or job, leaving home, a separation or divorce, or the failing health or death of a loved one.

How You Handle Change Matters
When facing a major life change, it’s normal to experience heightened emotions. In the case of loss, we may feel anger, sadness, or deep remorse. We might even shut down, unable to concentrate on family, friends, and everyday matters.

During times of stress, the chances of becoming ill are higher than usual. So, while it’s essential to our mental and physical well-being that we go through the grieving process, it’s equally important that we strive to move forward with our lives.

Sometimes, You'll Want Guidance or a Boost
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could always handle major upsets by ourselves? More often, however, we’re too emotionally charged – or drained – and would benefit from having someone help us gain balance in our lives.

What Will Happen During Our Counseling Sessions?
You are unique. For this reason, our sessions will be tailored to fit your individual needs, using therapeutic approaches that work best for you. The environment will be supportive, compassionate, and stimulating.

As your therapist, I will help you sort through your feelings, articulate your goals, and remove any roadblocks to success. My objective is to be your guide and coach, encouraging you to access and build upon your own personal strengths, and, as a result, to handle life’s challenges with clarity of purpose, courage, and confidence.
